A LEGAL DISCLAIMER
We advise all patients to ensure that they have read through the following terms and conditions prior to booking an appointment at Deirdre Burns Aesthetics & Skin Clinic. By booking an appointment you are agreeing to the terms and conditions as detailed below.
CANCELLATION POLICY
Due to the bespoke nature of our services, a minimum of 48 hours notice is needed in order to change your booking. All appointments must be cancelled or rescheduled via email or telephone only to deirdreburnsaesthetics@enquirenow.org or by calling 02867440308. Cancellations or changes to bookings can not be accepted via social media platforms as they are not routinely monitored.
Any cancelled or missed appointments within 48 hours will be eligible to pay a non-refundable/non-transferrable £50 cancellation fee. With the appropriate 48 hours days notice, we are happy to be able to move your appointment into a new available date at the clinics discretion.
TREATMENT CONDITIONS
Consultation appointments incurs a £50 non-refundable fee which covers our experts time and knowledge for advise. If the patient decides to go ahead with a treatment this £50 fee is deducted from the total cost on the day of treatment.
Booked appointments with a fee paid but that result in no treatment given will result in the booking fee being used for the practitioners time and advise. This will not be refunded if the treatment is unsuitable or inappropriate for you.
Prior to commencement of any treatment, you are required to sign a consent form. Upon signing the consent form, you are confirming you understand the benefits and risks of the treatment. In addition, you are acknowledging that no guarantees can be given with regard to clinical outcome and results are variable.
COMPLICATIONS
Although rare, some procedures can result in a range of well-documented complications which will be explained to you by your practitioner prior to signing your consent form. Specific patients may be subject to a higher risk factor than others. We always aim to treat these to the best of our ability as many of these complications can be managed simply and conservatively. If you urgently require to be review by a member of the team, you may be asked to travel to one of our clinics to be examined in a medical setting. In the very unlikely event of a more serious complication and the need of further treatment outside of our expertise, arrangements will be made for you to be treated by the NHS or if you wish, privately at your own cost. Please note it is possible that any private medical insurance may not cover complications arising from cosmetic work.
LIABILITY
Deirdre Burns Aesthetics & Skin Clinic will not be liable in for any economic loss (including, without limitation, loss of profit), or for any other special, indirect or consequential loss or damage arising out of, or in connection with, its provision of any goods and/or services to the patient.
Please do not bring children to your appointment (unless a responsible adult is accompanying you) and can look after them whilst you are being treated. It is the patient’s responsibility to ensure that he or she provide their practitioner with all relevant medical details prior to each treatment.
Deirdre Burns Aesthetics & Skin Clinic will not be liable for any damage that occurs as a result of the patient’s failure to disclose such details in writing on their consent form. The patient agrees to comply with all instructions and/or recommendations given to them by their practitioner regarding their aftercare. Nothing in these terms of business shall exclude or limit Deirdre Burns Aesthetics & Skin Clinic for death or any personal injury resulting from negligence by the clinic.
