Owner & Aesthetic Nurse
Deirdre
Deirdre established Deirdre Burns Aesthetics & Skin Clinic in 2021, driven by her vision of creating an environment where every aesthetics treatment is focused on helping clients become the most confident version of themselves.

Graduating from Queen Margaret University, Edinburgh, in 2012 with an Honours Degree in Adult Nursing, Deirdre developed a strong passion for dermatology. She began her career working in burns and plastics in Newcastle, England, before gaining over 13 years of valuable experience in acute hospital settings, including intensive care, A&E, and surgical units.

In 2020, Deirdre embarked on her journey into aesthetics, completing her foundational training at Harley Street, London. Her enthusiasm for facial aesthetics led her to further specialise in facial rejuvenation and cosmetic enhancement. She has trained with world-renowned experts, including Dr. Lee Walker, Dr. Patrick Treacy, and Dr. Tim Pearce. Transitioning to full-time facial aesthetics in 2023, Deirdre left her NHS role to fully dedicate herself to her clinic. She is a registered nurse with the Nursing & Midwifery Council and a proud member of ACE and BACN.
Committed to excellence in aesthetic medicine, Deirdre regularly attends training courses and seminars across the UK and Ireland to stay updated on the latest techniques and advancements. In 2023, she achieved her V300 Independent Nurse Prescribing qualification in Manchester.
Known for her patient-focused approach, Deirdre takes the time to understand her clients’ aesthetic goals, creating personalised treatment plans that deliver subtle yet transformative results.
Outside of her professional life, Deirdre is a dedicated wife to Niall and a busy mum of two. An animal lover, she enjoys horse riding and walking her two beloved dogs in her downtime.
Siofra
Aesthetic Nurse
Siofra is a skilled aesthetics practitioner and registered nurse, passionate about helping clients achieve confidence through subtle, natural-looking enhancements. She earned her honours degree in Adult Nursing from Queen’s University Belfast in 2014 and gained extensive experience in A&E, as well as in community, medical, surgical, and private healthcare settings.
Her aesthetics journey began in 2023 at the renowned Skin Viva Academy in Manchester, followed by advanced training at esteemed institutions like the Dr Bonny Academy in Belfast. Dedicated to patient safety and excellence, she maintains her NMC registration and continuously expands her expertise by attending training sessions, conferences, and seminars across Ireland, ensuring she stays at the forefront of the latest aesthetic techniques and trends.
With her warm and approachable nature, Siofra takes the time to ensure every patient feels comfortable, well-informed, and supported throughout their aesthetic experience.
Outside of work, she is a devoted wife to Mal and a proud mother of four boys. She loves spending time with her family, dining out, and catching up with friends.
Gemma
Clinic Manager
Gemma holds a First Class Honours Degree in Consumer Studies from the University of Ulster, alongside a Diploma in Industrial Studies & Marketing Masters.
Her early career focused on new product development, laying the foundation for a successful career built on understanding people, delivering excellence, and creating exceptional customer experiences.
For over 20 years, Gemma worked within the food industry, collaborating with leading brands including Marks & Spencer, Metro, Diageo and many more. During this time, she developed extensive expertise in project management, client relationships, and maintaining the highest standards of quality and service.
Today, as Clinic Manager, Gemma brings her wealth of experience, attention to detail, and genuine passion for people into the aesthetics industry. She is dedicated to ensuring every client feels welcomed, supported, and cared for from their first consultation through to their treatment journey.
Outside of work, Gemma is happily married to Peter and mum to three wonderful boys. She enjoys being their biggest supporter in their chosen sports, spending time with family and friends, getting lost in a good book, and taking walks with Paddy, her much-loved (and wonderfully crazy) cocker spaniel. Her warm, approachable nature and love of connecting with people are at the heart of everything she does.
